...found about a dozen bx. at my pawnshop....he wanted $12 per 20 and I only bought one bx...a month ago, they were $14....I'm gonna go back and wave a $50 bill at him and try to buy 5 bx....this time last year, they were $7+...is $12 really out of line for now??? I called to tell a young Marine friend...he's in the field this weekend but he told me he's gotten ME some ammo...I got him a box and a third of old commercial .308 from my work buddy last month...he's showing proper appreciation and learning what networking's good for !!! We'll see what he found for me....Mac has generously offered to part with some .308 for him...the youngun's impressed that old guys like us respect his training, skills, and willingness to stand beside us....I wonder if he realizes that one day he may have to fight for his country instead of his commander-in-chief!!!

The whitebox is a little more than the stuff I buy. I buy all import and PMC brass stuff.

$10 a box is pretty common here, but WWB is a little more...5 for $50 is a OK deal for these parts.

I've been picking up 2 boxes a week of PMC .223 55gr FMJ.
I shoots a pretty good group and I save the brass for reloading. My Son has a Dillon 550.
They just had a baby so no time to reload right now. Just diaper duty.

I bought a couple hundred rounds of PMC a while back to sit on. $8 per 20. I'm waiting for the sky to fall.

I got 250 for $90 last week. I have so much of the stuff packed in cans I've thought about selling some off. At $10/20 I would be 50% cheaper than the donkey raper that runs our local gun shop.

The price of 223 is starting to fall. I've seen a couple of adds recently where it is going for a lot less than it was a year ago.

I'm glad about the price drop to, as I am starting to look at prices at my local shops. The cheapest off the shelf price right now for a box of 20 Win White box is $10.99 a box with a limit of 5 boxes per purchase. I will be watching Wally World for the Value Packs now.

After I get set up to reload my predator and varmint loads, I will be using a 55-gr Hornady VMax anyway.
