Any one ever use Federal 170 Gr in 30-30

A couple of years ago got a good deal on some Federal 30-30 170 gr( partition) factory rounds.
Any of you ever use these on whitetails, hogs? I will use these in as Marlin 336!

I've never used those particular rounds, but I have used a lot of Federal in the past. Never took a deer with it, but it always shot real nice groups. I would think they'd be a fine round for 30-30 distances.
