| Senior Member Joined: Apr 2008 From: Texas Posts: 4,142 | 204 Ruger A few of the Hornady rounds are tight in the chamber of my new rifle they fit just tight, while the rest just fall right in place. Been hearing that the bullets aren't all the same size when they are attempting to seat the bullet. Anyone else having troubles? |

I think these are store bought rounds TN, although, they may be doing those things at the factory.

You probably have a tight chamber and the factory loads are seated a little long for it. You'll want to watch out for that when you start loading your own.
