AMMOMAN UPDATES: Let's talk Lake City 223 / 5.56 AMMO? From: ammoman@yahoogroups.com on behalf of AMMOMAN-owner@yahoogroups.com Sent: Tue 2/23/10 7:22 PM To: AMMOMAN@yahoogroups.com Lake City is an Army ammunition plant. The ammunition is made for the military with one thing in mind...... QUALITY. Unlike commercial ammo plants that have to consider profit. There is nothing like it.The accuracy, kick, feel, smell and function do not get any better. NOTHING LIKE IT compares, unless you want to pay for MATCH ammo. The Lake City ammo does cost more than say Russian ammo, but as with cars, homes and everything you buy, it's worth it. We have the Lake city 223 / 5.56 in 3 varieties. I don't know if it's worth $100 more than the stuff my local has or not. I've never used it.
