Suddenly the supply of Ruger Old Army BP guns is starting to dry up so figured now was a good time to get one. Turns out this gun off Gunbrocker, although with an incorrect box and shipper, looks unfired just as described. It is an adjustable sight 1974 [3rd year of production] version. No paperwork or nipple wrench. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

sometimes ruger really suprises me............ cass gets real popular and ruger starts selling a lot of blackhawks and vaqueros. they even start producing fixed sight old army revolvers and within a year or so of that dis-continue the model...... now the old army is is being sought after......... anyways, congrats on a great weapon and enjoy. this one looks to be a lifetime keeper for sure..... |

I can buy a used gun in like 45LC the price of a cylinder kit . I must be missing something . http://www.midwayusa.com/browse/BrowseP ... g=10635*** Here is the reverse , a cartridge gun made into a muzzle loader . |

Have an 1851 Navy along with the ROA and still don't even have the fixin's to load it up and fire it. Someday, someday will shrug off the lazies and do it.
