I was thinkig of purchasing a 3rd Mod Dragoon(.44 cal), any of you have any experience with this revolver? I was looking at the Uberti brand! |

Never owned but one Colt copy BP gun, and had nothing but trouble with it. I have had much better luck with the Remington copies.

tn, Those are some nice looking revolver`s! I do have a pair of the 1858 `s! Those 1873`s of yours are neat! Who manufacture those? |

These work super , the cylinders only hold 22 grs of 2F , which is the target load for 44's and the caps can't fall off , when the loading gate closed . So loose caps are not a problem . I NEVER used the loading lever on my cap and ball gun to load , so the missing loading lever on these are great for me . I got these to shoot in SASS/CAS matches and they aren't legal in there matches , so I maybe going to sell them . |
