Built a reloading stand [ finished ]

This the 3rd hand you need to make muzzle loading easier . I built the gun in 1991 and I ain't shot 50 rds threw it since I made it . I'm going to start shooting since I have the time . Tomorrow I will sand and stain once the glue drys and hide the only screws showing

BH it is a 357 barrel with a slug twist . I've only shot round ball in it , 1 day I will cast pure lead slugs and test it . I don't think it will out shoot RB at 25 to 50 yds .... This gun only has 3 moving parts and I used a coil spring for the hammer . The lock time and ignition is faster then a modern revolver and more accurate to boot .

...looks neat and efficient...I'd anchor it with a clamp or something so it wouldn't tip over while ramming the ball home...

The pressure is on the little block on the base and your hand on top makes very stable to load on . I've built about 10 these for single shots and revolvers over the years and never need to clamp one yet . So if I need to clamp this one down it will be YOUR fought
