I like that gun. If I get a BP, I want one like that.

The Remy 1858 in 44 cal is the one that wins all the big matches . The one's with the gainer-twist like the original Remy are the best , but they cost 3 times more then of a reg twist gun . The Ruger old army are not legal to shoot in a lot of matches , but they are good shooters . They won't beat the gainer-twist guns .

It is not the gun, or the shooter. It is the cream of wheat that makes the difference.

Armi San Paolo of Italy , which change there name in 2002 to Euroarms of Italy . This gun was made in the early 70's and well made and the parts seem have the correct heat treatment on them .

Your right ..... The IC of W keeps the bore and forcing cone clean and with my special lube I make , I NEVER clean the gun till the end of the day shooting only wipe the outside of gun between reloading . Without the IC of W the group size would double and cleaning would be needed in only a few reloads to keep it shooting . Some guys use corn meal for filler it work good also .

Re: Lucky 12 ?

Nice gun. The Italians make some very nice guns [and Cars]. I have an Armi San Marco that must need to go back since it spreads the holes over a much wider area.

Good shooting
