Mosin-Nagant 45-70 Conversion

I thought you guys might be interested in this site showing the steps these men took to convert a couple of Mosin Nagants so they'd shoot the 45-70 catridge. Looks like they would make nice little guide guns.

That's pretty awesome. I wouldn't go thru all that work myself, but would be very tempted to buy one already done.

Yes, and then you would cut it off and make it shorter.

I think it is awesome. No way could I do it myself. That looks like a lot of man hours, so a smith would probably cost way more than I got.
