Help me dicker

a.Trade stocks
B.trade my rifle for his sks.
c.Stay were i am.
I have this 6.5 jap rifle that still has the crest on the bolt. That makes it worth a bit more in some ways.

My buddy Pat has the stock to make it back to like issued.
He have a sks that has no stock.I have a stock that will fit.do I

I got that 6.5 from a guy in a home dieing from Cancer.Said his dad in the war jumped a jap while walking up the side of a hill.Had him dead but the gun was empty and the dad shot him and took the rifle..

than after he died the son cut it down for some stupid reason..

WHO KNOWS..

If you don't need the SKS stock and you want the other one, go for it.

fix the jap back to orginal and KEEP IT.the mum hasn't been ground off thats a big deal to a collector.some of the jap rifles had the duffle bag cut.G.I.'s would cut the stock to fix in their duffle bags and thats how they got them home on the ships.

+1

sks stocks are cheap and readily available.............heck even some places might still use them for firewood......they were when first imported and everyone was running out and buying folders and such for the sks.

Hell even I have a wooden SKS stock, minus hand guard, sitting upstairs. I don't even have an SKS anymore.

You can get an SKS any day of the week, but you probably won't find another Jap gun that you know the history of.
