Got 50 bucks on the the trade too. Ever so often there will be someone wanting to off load a half box of 40 cal and sometimes a 357 Sig. at one of the gun shops I hang out at. Sinceits hard for the owner to re-sell this ammo as most times its not in th box or the box is messed up. I am nornally the one that buys this stuff. I normally get it for under 10 bucks, and will get much more range time with this gun. I wasn't with the LCR, didn't care for the heavy re-coil. I like this little gun as, much liter than my 226 plus its double action only no safies to mess with. It has a much long trigger pull than the Glock. For me this is a safer gun in my hands than the Glock. My friend that teach's CCW class's using nothing but Glocks, I have no idea as to how many rounds he has put throught. Most people that take his class, use his gun. Twice a year he and I take them down and clean the crap out of them. Any Glocks are good guns for teaching his class's and for those that like them are good for carry. I had one and sold it, got my money out of it was glad of that. But I like my Sig. works for me. |

...you got super value on that trade...is the Sig a 239 or 229 or what???I like the DAO...don't like the Sig's decocker on the left side...never fired a .357 Sig round...kicks how compared to the .40????

I haven't shot the 357 Sig my self. But The LCR as with any air lite gun just kills my hands to shoot so any type of range time was for me impossible. Of course the LCR was and is my concealible, but I have a darringer for that. Beleive it or not I can shoot the darringer easier than I could the LCR. The Sig. 250 more concealible that my 45 auto loader. But I can keep my 45 in the truck safe and carry my Sig. I am thinking it will be more controlible for me to shoot. Like deputy said its my butt on the line, oops isn't going to cover it. Yep the trade went well for me, of course the 50 bucks went on one of the guns I have on lay a way lol. |

Yea I am thinking the same thing pal. its bigger and can shoot two different types of ammo using the same clips. heck dang near a box of shells if I have one in the tube and the three mags loaded with 13 rounds each. I think it will get the job done. |

Just looking at the 357 sig. I can think that it would be a reloaders nite mare. I am sure it can but I like myself so well I will not punish myself in that manner lol. This is a carry gun and yes I know I am going to need trigger time with it. No problem there accept for the cost of ammo. So the trigger time will be limited as to what I can find on sale. Did find some 40 cal white box at walley world for around 31 bucks for 100 round of full metal jacket. i do really need to shoot the 357 sig to see for myself what recoil is for me with this gun and where it hits for me. Of course it turn out to be a pig in a poke but I am thinking I am going to be able to shoot this gun much better than Any Snubby.\ I bet I have had 10 of them if I had one, keep them for almost 2 years then trade them off. i talk myself into them just have to have them can't live with out them. Doesn't take but one time at the range with them and its like a sore toe on a road march. Just can't get behind a snubby gun no matter who makes them. Shoguns well that is a horse of a different color, i have traded afew of them off but for the most part I have most of mine. There are two that I wished i had never traded off. Both 870's both Vent ribs first one was 2 3/4 and the last was 3 mag. I doubt I will ever make it to heaven for doing that lol. |

Sounds like to did alright. Jen has actually been looking at the LCR. She likes the feel, weight, and the trigger pull. I think I could reload for her for practice and should could carry a +P load. They're expensive though. |

it is my understanding the 357 LCR is a few oz heavier yet still substantially lighter than a sp101 or a smith 60........and reports that i have read about the magnum LCR with 38 loads have been positive as far as recoil control. | |

That's the route we would go. The 357 with 38 loads. She likes the weight and the trigger pull is sweet.
