...my favorite older pistol was the pre68 Browning .380...it was beautiful and well designed...I'd love to have one in 9mm...with ambi safetys...why not dream...

i've looked at them and played with a colt pocket auto...........they do look like a dream......but that RH only safety is so small it even looks like trouble for a RH man........... condition 3 carry with empty chamber comes to mind....... this may be old news but still a good blog and a good article about condition 3 carry....... |

...when I had mine, I was 19 and slightly less than smart...I carried it IWB 12 o'clock in a small pouch unzipped...with the manual safety off...trusting the pouch and grip safety...which was pretty stiff...without mishap...today...I don't think so, even if it were in a stronger caliber... ...I'll carry a 1911-sized pistol with empty chamber if necessary...if I carried a stock 1911 with no ambi safety, for instance...I can chamber one-handed easily...the little pistols...too little sights and too stiff springs...don't think so... |
