been doing a lot of reading......and of course the subject of caliber often raises its ugly head. anyways, an ole' boy decided to get "artistic" about his feelings. ![]() now of course the 357 mag ain't there,........the entire top half of the body would be gone!!! |

I sure don't. I think the 45acp will do just fine in a pinch. The 357 would be a great second choice. First if it's a woods gun.

| Senior Member Joined: Apr 2008 From: Texas Posts: 4,142 | Re: caliber wars.......... its not the caliber of the gun used its the person doing the shooting no matter how good the caliber is if you can't hit the mark then its bullet in the air which means your dead or worse and the bullet keep on flying. With the right ammo and the person can shoot the gun and hit the mark the bg is dead period. The 357 mag. will not blow a body in half although there are those that would have us think that way. Nor will a 12 ga blow them in half. An M 79 will do that job very nicely but it is loud and does make a mess. I doubt they make one yet for ccw but I can always hope for one. |

The drawing is inaccurate. The 10mm guy would have an empty gun, cause there aint none of that crap on the shelves I see.

At close to $40/box, ain't no wonder the "preminum" ammo was still available but the std remy green box vanilla cheaper stuff was all gone......... |
