you can carry one ccw.....and without a CHL.........as i understand the law and it is an actual or replica of a cap and ball firearm meeting the prior 1899 guidline. it can not be a cartridge conversion. most officers and prosecuters are actually iggnorant about such............. |

...brother, I wouldn't do it...by the letter of the law, it's not a firearm...but it is still a dangerous weapon, and a judge and jury would probably convict you...here's why...UCW covers everything from a blackjack to double-edged knife...the clear intent of the law is to keep people from carrying deadly things...so carrying openly ...would stir up a lot of crap and you'd be persecuted...probably enough negative slurs thrown on your attitude and mental condition to keep your permit from being issued...carrying concealed (which I've done most of my life without a permit)...I'd carry something real...effective...and spare myself the hassle...or do like I do, and choose where you go real carefully...and when...the streets change at night...and hold on for your permit...we just got you here...don't want you to do something that could mess up what you like to do most(well, after wimmen, anyways)...have a great Friday!!!
