Want to buy old cartridge boxes for 38/357, any quantity, in useable condition. Cardboard or plastic. Not for collecting but refilling with my reloads.

You can buy the box super cheap at MIDWAY . There are place on the internet which are even cheaper .

trash barrels at the gun range are productive............and i prefer the hard plastic trays over the styrofoam when re-using old ammo boxes.

store bought.....i like to color code with mtm brand boxes.

I like the different colors . I put 38 special in one color , 357 in another , 357 MAX in another and my cowboy 38 in another . I use a magic marker to ID load specs inside lid and use car compound to remove writing if needed . I don't like the slip off lids . I use the 50 round boxes for hot or hunting stuff , the 100 rounders for low pressure stuff like for target , plinking and cowboy loads . This system works great for me .

Jimbo ..........That storm you are to get this weekend could drop 10" of rain , so Reddog don't put a order in till Tueday to see if he made it .

He's too young, anyway! I think I'll go back to what I did years ago. There are 150 .38 Special in this oval tin box. The Union Leader box ought to hold 200, maybe 250?

The temp stayed down below 80° all afternoon at the range. Brisk breeze out of the north made it plenty cool! First time in a coon's age! We've got at least four more days forecast to be below 80. Hope this breaks the spell! Spent over two hours shooting my 6" S&W Mod. 28 no dash and my 6" Mod. 10!
