That’s a very nice short lug GP100. Looks like a 4” or is it a 3”?

that 642 maybe great to carry but I wouldn't want much range time with it. Miss the Security Six, wasn't much to look at but they worked first time everytime.

The 642 is design to be shot under 7 yds , if you need range time to shoot 7 yds your don't need a gun , you need a guilde dog . If you shoot someone over 7 yds you better have a good lawyer .

From what I recall having read in the past, Ruger made a run of GP100s in .38 Special for a Canadian agency or agencies. IIRC some have been listed on gunbroker in the past as well.

Guess that is why you have duke? The person is going to first have to learn to shoot, would be a good idea if they are going to carry wouldn't you say so?
