Got these pics from 44's. The email says it was Chinese ammo, but I'm betting it was reloaded ammo. Might have been posted here in the past?

anyone know the potential hoops and loops that someone has to jump thru getting anything out of an importer of ammo? Hear tell its tough enough just getting federal or remington to admit something........

I doubt a Blackhawk or a Redhawk would have taken the load that blew up that 29. But the Rugers at least the older ones would take more pressure than the Smiths ever could. |

There was a guy at the range where I work took a brand new Ruger Redhawk and blew it up with the first shot! Of course, his handloads where not to blame! At least that was his story and he stuck to it. Ruger offered another gun at their cost. Refused to re-emburse him, and I don't blame them. There is not too many guns made any stronger than a Redhawk, and to blow one up on the first shot is incredible. Consider all these guns get a cylinder full of proof loads before they leave the factory. So how hot you think this guys handload had to be to blow up the gun?!?!

My reply was to, Gunman, and I stand by it. If the load blew up the Redhawk on the first shot, it was too hot.
