I wouldn't want to get hit with it. It would be like getting shot with a pellet gun 50 times. It would blind a person real quick. |

If you shot me with that gun I will have five 45acp in you in less that a second before I die . I've shot snakes , rabbits and birds with 410 and they lived a good 30 seconds , that is a lot of clip changes in a bottom feeder . My Bond has a 4" barrel and no cylinder air gap . The 45LC is 3 times better then the 410 slug . I've tested them on 1 gal water jugs . |

...I wouldn't want to carry a load that was almost certain not to be lethal...and might not even stop the perp...I'm just not sold on the .410 for defense...and, no, I wouldn't want to be shot with one either...but tests have shown even the slug not powerful enough to count on...now the .45 Colt slug...different story...that's what I'd carry in mine...birdshot is for the birds...buckshot is for the bucks...no matter how many legs they have...

And before anyone get their hair on end I just happen to be friends with the old sherrffi and have known the present sherrffi many years so I am covered there. |

...you just be real careful while shooting those wild dogs you don't nail someone's ex-wife...sometimes it's hard to tell the difference...you have to hold a hot dog out...ex-wives won't wag their tails for a weenie...

TGR usually it is a small dog like the ones that you have in your picture that will get the main pack worked up and start them attacking. Yes they are hard to hit but you can break up the pack by shooting them first. But once I have popped a dog the size of duke they usully make the mistake of going over to see what is wrong with the big bad dog. Works most of the time. |

I was chased 2 miles by pack of 15 or more wild dog and no gun . Top speed in that area on cow paths was about 15 mph , they caught up to me a few times and I thought I was a gonner . I have no problem shooting dogs in a pack . I do have a problem shooting a lone dog with a collar that got losted . Duke is only a guard dog in his house and fenced in area . He has save my life a few time by forcing me to wake up when I quit breathing . He loves kids and will not anyone harm them . I will pay a big reward to get him back if he got lost . He is Micro-chipped . |

Once dogs have packed up they are not dogs any more. i don't shoot lone dogs with collars. Only packs, and I have to see the pack first before I commit to shooting them. |

The gentlest dog once in a pack and taste blood can NEVER ever be trusted again and must be killed and you know I'm a dog lover . You must be hunting them on horse back . |

One of the reasons I carry the judge and one of the reason's I have 35 Remington load or 30 30 with me if there is a large pack say 10 or more I have my Remington 270 winchesterauto loader with a 10 round mag also have one in 243, both work well. Also carry the ar 15 with 30 mags close by. |

And here in the county where I live it's a class c felony to shoot a dog, wild or not. There's no state law to prohibit it that I'm aware of, just a county law. But once you've been stalked by a pack of wild dogs, you just don't care anymore.
