All very nice. Shawn, I am glad to see that your criminal past was hidden well enough for you to pass the background check.

Re: My only 44 magnum

That's neat. Never had one with a short barrel, must be some compensation thing, I guess. I have a set of rubber Hogue grips that I'd turn loose of right, if you're interested.

Re: My only 44 magnum

I have a set of Hogues here. They're too big. i have a set of Uncle Mike's that are great. They're on my 45 Redhawk. I'm going to keep the wood grips for now. I also have those fake Ivory ones with the BH on them. I might put them on to see how they look.

Those white grips look great on the dark gun. Very nice!

Re: My only 44 magnum

...may you be blessed with enough wisdom to shoot mostly .44 Special in it...plenty of power and soooooooo much easier on the hand and ears...so I've heard...I have refused to shoot a .44Mag handgun ALL my life...the above will apply even more after you've rounded the butt and shortened the barrel...
...nice gun...

Since I'll be loading for it I'll load up plinkers to full bore bombs. I may deer hunt with it this year.

Next time you're up we'll put some rounds thru it, and hopefully without any hiccups.

Sounds good. Unlike Sheepdog, I enjoy punishing my hand sometimes.

...that makes it a lot easier to find a comfy load...I'm just a sissy and have/will only shot .44Mag in a rifle...
