Well, finally got this one off lay a way. Sorry for the sucky pictures, but my camera stinks. I ordered some Tyler T grips for it. From what I am hearing, these crooks took everybody's money even after they went out of business, and their website is still on too. Don't know if I can deal with the wood grips without the Tylers. May have to put the rubber Hogues back on it. ![]() ![]() After shooting it both with the rubber grips and the wood ones, think I am gonna have to go with the rubber grips. I have to put my pinky finger under the grip with the wood ones, just like I shoot a single action revolver. Not real comfortable. I knew I would have this problem, as I have never found a grip that felt good with the Redhawk. I do wish they would update the Redhawk with a GP100/Super Redhawk grip stud and lockwork!!!! |

That's a good one! Tim, PM me your address. I'll ship you those Uncle Mike's to try. Those grips are great. If you like them, they're only $12, and you can order a set and ship mine back. |

Shawn, I ordered a set of the Uncle Mikes. I have used Uncle Mikes grips in the past on other revolvers, and found them to be good. Had them on a Smith model 60 years ago. I have just never had any luck with any grip that felt really good on the Redhawk. I probably need to have it round butted . I think that would help. I have some pretty big hands. A Smith 629 with Houges feels great to me. Just something about the Redhawks grip frame. It actually feels better with the wood grips to me, until I shoot it! Then they suck. The bantam Hogues are not terrible, but they sure are ugly. The full size Hogues are HUGE on this gun. I have never tried the Pachymares because I never liked them on any other gun as well as Houges.

I believe that they were shut down by the AG after taking orders and payment and not sending out any product.
