Chiappa Rino

We got a couple of these monstrosities in at work. Although they don't feel as crappy as they look, no way would I buy one. The small one was almost $700 and the big un almost $800! Although the idea of the barrel firing from the bottom is interesting, and I am sure it does cut down some on muzzle flip, I just don't see the need. If you ever seen the insides of this thing, it looks more complicated than a Swiss watch. Way too many parts to break. I just aint impressed, in case I was being to vague.

Doesn't look like my thing either, Tim. But then again, neither did the G19 for many years.

Re: Chiappa Rino

I believe it's a tad bit more ugly than a Glock, more like a cross breed between Hi Point and a Glock....

They do look a bit funky but for the money you could have a GP100 and a few boxes of .357 ammo.

with that attitude????

the PR blunder is the final paragraph of what was an intelligent response to this possible issue............

Others may prefer to wrap the revolver and their head in aluminum foil, curl in a ball and watch reruns of Mel Gibson's 1997 film, Conspiracy Theory. Well, that's a plan too!
sense of humor aside, such statements can not be productive for gun sales as it will likely fuel a back-lash and it was uncalled for.

i see hi-point taking a hit on this as mks is their parent company.
