4" 28

Thanks, Lash and Rock!
Jeff,
I only paid $400, shipped. That's not a bad price, because it's a 4". I don't agree with that, I like the 6" 28s much better. The shorter ones are easier to carry but who is going to try to carry an "N" frame, concealed? I've had 6" revolvers ever since my first one! I think they just fit me better!
What the heck? they're all great!
Dick

Oh I agree that the 6" guns are great, I just like the 4" as well. 6" has always made more sense for a heavy .357 but I still want a 4" . I want both!!!!!!

$400.00 seems fine for one in good mechanical shape. I would go for that.

Son Steve's .41 Mag

I bought this gun about 15 years ago along with a couple other guns and a large quantity of ammo and empty cases. It's one of the most accurate shooting guns I've ever had! 2.5 lb. trigger! My second son, Steve, took a liking to it and I gave it to him. Big mistake! Anyway, I've enjoyed shooting with him all these years and have replaced it with a near new one a while back. It was well worth the $250 I gave for it originally! This will be the last Smith I can show untill I can buy some more!
Dick
PS - That's a good looking .41 you had, Gun Runner!

I did a trigger job on it for the sheriff of San Diego and he gave me a box of Win silver tips to sight in gun for him , It cloverleaf 12 round at 25 yds . He sold me the gun 5 year later and a buddy talked me out of it a few years later . One gun I wish I never sold .

In the blue bar above click "User CP"

On the left side about halfway down click "Edit Options".

Go down to the fourth section labeled "Date and Time Options"

Set the timezone for "GMT-6 Central time" if you are in my time zone as I suspect.

Go to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes"

I'd like to see you wearing all of your 27s and 28s. Could you stand up?

No way!

Which reminds me. I've been wanting to take some group shots of my various types of Smiths, and can't figure how to get them up stairs without making so many trips? One of these days!

model 28's have sure become proud as have model 25's. But then again, there is a lot of gun there and a lot of craftsmanship.

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of that one, and hearing how it shoots.

This is what a 5.5 gr. load of Blue Dot and a 158 gr. Win. JHP did for me, yesterday!
