SP101

First time out with it since the "bullets in the barrel" problem a few weeks ago. Gun works fine , Shot about 30 rounds of +P 38SP a mixure of 38sp different loads. As usual for me the group was shall we say, high wide and not too handsome. shot about half of then double action and half Single action. The were on the 8 1/2 X11 paper at least at 50 ft.
Going to fudge a little and put results of My 357 BH on here to. Now that gun is fun to shoot regardlsees of what you put in it. Got out a few of my deer loads from 1994 . Win case 158 gr., Hornady semijacked HP powder was 2400. Dont hav e the box in front of me but I think it was 18 1/2 grains. Any way it put down the only deer I ever shot at with them.
I have reloads with several different powders but I'm thinking of sticking with the 158 gr Tennessee Valley fairly soft SWC and Universal powder. That makes a nice shooting cartridge. in 38SP or 357 Mag. Leading today was very minimal.
Any way a good time was had by all as I was the only one using the range. I went to the state DNR range this time, located in Mongo In. on the Pidgeon River Wild Life area.
That is located 19 miles north of me and the Izzak Walton range is 22 miles south of me. Sure do miss living in the country.

Re: SP101

Glad to hear the SP101 is all fine. The BH, and all SA revolvers, are fun, fun, fun! The only one I have left is my Vaquero in 45Colt. I do love it though.
