Re: Here it is

That looks like a HAND FULL. Is that one you wanted, or is that the one Jen wanted? Nice gun BTW, very nice.

Her. She likes the weight better. The trigger is not as smooth as the JM's but it is new and the JM is not. Taking them both to the range Friday. I'll let you all know how they work out.

Re: Here it is

...if it's heavy enough, she oughta love it...turns back the clock to the old packaging...that paper, a blue box, a cleaning rod and swab, and an aluminum-head screwdriver with every gun...good days....

Re: Here it is

I can download. I think that the lead with 5 grains of Unique should be managable. She also took the grips that were on the JM. She likes them much better. They fit her better too.

Re: Here it is

Your options are wide open for that. You can shoot a lot of lead for practice and then use the JHP for SD. A 250 gr bullet at 800 FPS has settled a lot of fights in the last 100 years. Next will be a set of Crimson Trace grips.

Thats a fine looking revolver in a great caliber.

Re: Here it is

Boy that is really sharp!

Dumb question: So, .45acp, is this a moon clip gun from the factory?

Re: Here it is

BH, I used to load 5 gr. Unique under a 210 gr. SWC for .44 Spl...shot it out of a 19 oz. Charter Bulldog...this gun with around that load should be comfortable for her...mighty UNcomfortable for the recipient....enjoy....

Yes it is. Just like the JM we just got. Both guns will shoot 45acp rounds without moon clips too.
