...Dep, you may enjoy this offering... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WFeHSD-tnI one inaccuracy is that the Agent is NOT just like the Cobra...the Cobra has a steel cylinder, the Agent not only has a bobbed grip frame, but an alloy cylinder...

All I gots to say is - if your life depends on it - you better get the best you can afford. That's why I don't own a Rossi or a Taurus. Although my LGS swears on the 24/7 and the Taurus LIFETIME warranty. I might consider one of them lever carbines in 45 if the price was right, but it would be for fun and not defense. Anybody that would make one of these would really get me to wondering what their standards are. |

...I don't wanna USE the warranty...even if the CS is great...I was glad to see both my Taurusi .44s function well...there are a lotta lemons out there...Charter has gotten so iffy I won't buy another...their first Bulldogs/Undercovers were fine...quality is everything...a click when you were expecting a bang is a horrible letdown...

SD - I still got that speedloader looking for the right bulldog. just haven't found it yet. Now that Ruger has made the 44spl in a short barrel, I have something else to choose from. |

Taurus/Rossi is really coming along, probably due in part to the gentleman in management who came from Colt. I've had a positive experience with a Rossi in the past, and more recently, with the Taurus 1911. Deputy makes some really good points, tho', when you consider actually makin' a purchase... And, regarding the "old-style" Colts, IMHO, they're great...I still carry n' use a very "experienced" old D-special from time to time, and it's "slick". Saw a 98-99% Cobra today and the asking price is $795.00...and...the seller will get real close to his askin' price before it's over... |

...jody, they were simple revolvers made exceedingly well...attention to fit and finish, made to work and last... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_Cobra I miss 'em...the old model...not the new shrouded ejector models...which are going for $600 blue 90%, by the way...
