What do you think I should use to clean this s/s gun ???? Its the dull type finish , but it has a 10 year coat of yellowish tarnish on it. Its going to g/broker to fund a 338 ruger 77.. Its a Winchester model 70 stainless classic in 338. |

Maybe some scotch brite. It looks like it's going to be a lot of work. I'd just tell them they're getting it like that.

...try some pure ammonia and fine steel wool...brush on the ammonia and let set 5 min then steel wool it and wipe it with a wet rag....

I think Flitz makes a cleaner polish just for stainless, could test it on the bottom of the barrel
