...on the grip screws and the night sights on my P90...anything I can spray on them to seal them without attacking the tritium on the sights???

Any idea what's causing them to rust? The tritium isotope is in a sealed glass vial, so you're not gonna hurt them with anything you spray on there, unless it'll disolve glass. I'd try coating the whole gun with some automotive paste wax. I wax all of mine, makes 'em all shiny and waterproof. Molon Labe Kim |

I wipe mine down with Remington gun wipes. They're silicone cloths. Hasndling the gun a lot in the humidity will leave lots of body oils on them and cause rust. Lots of guys wipe theirs down nightly to prevent it. I don't do mine that often.

...I don't wax my car but I'll buy some to protect my gun...just the screws and sights...the rest is stainless.... ...kim, I sweat till I'm soaking wet and carry IWB...crawlin' in attics and under houses...can't carry anything blued for that reason...my P97 would even rust some on the slide...the P90 just the grip screw and sights... ...thanks, fellas!!! |

...have met one rattler on the job...so far I've been bigger'n the rats...just can't dump my gun ten times a day...often work where it ain't safe in the truck...wood grips might last me a week...rubber for me....

Good deal,,keep your rubbers handy..Never know.. Can't you get s/s screws?? If you start waxing that thing,and the sun hits it you will be blinded by the flash. :P |

SD, I agree on the Johnson's paste wax.....I use it on the table saw and jointer to keep them from rusting......
