22 Magnum scope for the mini?

Would my 22 Magnum scope hold up to the recoil of my mini? I might put it on there for a bit to see how I like it, but I don't know if the recoil will mess it up.

.22 scopes are built to take the strange recoil of a rimfire, so I don't think a center fire will bother one in the least.

It won't be too much, huh? It's a nice scope and I'd hate to wreck it.

Rimfires and airguns are death on 'normal' scopes. Airguns recoil in two directions and rimfires have a reticle killing vibration, that being said, a rimfire scope on a centerfire should be fine. If it isn't I will tell you how apologetic I am for misleading you.

It's my understanding that a quality rim fire scope will be built just as robust as their center fire counterparts, but have the parallax set to 50 yards as opposed to 100 yards.

+1 ..... 223 I like 150 yd parallax or adj parallax scope . Seem like I posted this parallax infor and web sights before . I guess no one read it

I'm going to. I just might use the scope for hunting, if I hunt with it. The accu-Strut I want mostly cause it looks damn cool.

...it does...I like the new one with the air-cooled holes that's to be out this year...is there a scope that would work on the Mini that would have a small tube all the way no flares??? I hate the big flared look but if I'm gonna shoot 100yds...I don't see the holes without a scope...hardly the targer...

nikon has a 4x pro staff that is stated to be a rimfire scope but also adequate for shotguns and rifles.

the biggest thing might be "parallax" adjustment...............for example the nikon is set for 50 yards.

The group size they are happy with , parallax isn't a big deal with them .
