this is the best help i can give http://www.opticstalk.com/ they are a dedicated optics/scope board. They discuss anything from bushnell to schmidt & bender. they are associated with a vendor and do on occasion offer some good prices on many brands of optics as well............ here is the sales protion http://swfa.com/Riflescopes-C1443.aspx and this is the poor boy scope....so to speak........that i have been lusting for... http://swfa.com/Redfield-2-7x33-Revolut ... 44467.aspx |

The mark 4 scope would be a huge step up in quality. It is a difference that you can see inside the store (most scopes, even crappy ones, look okay inside the store with decent lighting) and will be a huge difference when you get outdoors, especially at dawn and dusk. Unfortunately, they are out of my price range. I compared scopes in my price range(<$250) and ended up with a Nikon buckmaster. It was between that and a bushnell 3200. Both were noticeably brighter and clearer than the leupolds in that price category. I will someday have a really nice leupold, or other top end scope, but I can't afford them yet. |

yeah I like them, ive alaways heard good about them and i hate buying something that i will end up replacing later (spending more money), so i tend to get what I truely would like. Was going to go with a Mark 4 LR for my 300 wsm but thats like 1500, so i stuck with the VX3 with CDS cus i got a killer deal on it. Still to much of a scope for what Ill be using it for but if the bullet can carry 1000 yrds Id like my optics to do the same without using to much judgement. I just think that the Mark 4 for the .308 would be nice for the fact that its a 2.5 min opitical zoom. I almost wanted to keep the gun iron sighted just for the fact I dont have a close quarters rifle yet. but at least with that scope i can sight for 50 yds and use the CDS for any other distance... Im going to have to figure out how tho considering they zero the dials at 100.

Your guns can talk to you, it is other stuff that girls can do that shouldn't be tried with guns. |
