No Locktite used, just a torque wrench and torqed to 17 in pounds. So fare it has not loosened up.

After reading this thread it appears I'm a little late to the party. I have a Bushnell red dot on my M4. It works well and gets on target very quickly. The rings are not 1" and are made just for the optic. It has done duty on a lot of different guns including an 870 with 3" magnum turkey shells. I've never had it loose zero. My only complaint is that the battery life is not as long as it could be. If you forget to shut the sight off, and check it a couple days later, you are going to have to change the battery. I know I'm a little late, but that's my .02. |
