XS Sights

I got a set of these for the Glock 19. They are very visible in the dark and work well in day light too. I'm going to go shoot with them this weekend if all goes as planned.

...nuts...I thought you had the 17...of course the 17 clips'll work in the 19...just stick out a bit...great sights for (mature) eyes that are both instinctive and easy...you'll love 'em...

I'd like a 17, but I got the 19 because it carries easier. It's not too small, so it shoots real well too. It's just right for whatever is needed. My local has 33 round mags for $40. They'll stick out a little too.

Re: XS Sights

That medium size seems the most practical for carry to me for everything but the 10 mm. It allows a full grip and a decent barrel length and sight radius.

If you don't need maximum concealment.

Re: XS Sights

I agree, Mac. I still wouldn't mind having a 17 for the truck/bag, and a 26 just because.

I have night sights on my 17 and three dot regular sights on my 19. I only carry the 19 and the 17 is my backup night stand piece and sometimes truck gun. Both are like shooting 22s.

Are they the only Glocks you have? You said they were both 2nd generation guns, right? That's what mine is.

Re: XS Sights

...biggest changes in the generations are grip/frame style, right? I don't know them apart...I do remember the first 21s were hard to hold...then they made the grip smaller and a big improvement...about ten years ago...

Re: XS Sights

From 2 to 3 they put the finger grooves on and added the rail. 4 has a new double recoil spring set up, reversible mag release, and different texturing on the grip. I may be missing some things, but that's the most of it. I don't know about the 1st generation guns.

Re: XS Sights

...they were P L A I N...but they shot...the newer ones are better looking...I like the grenade grip look I've seen on some...not crazy 'bout the rail...but a laser would be good at night...making it child's play to hit with it...

Yes to both. The 19 dissapears a lot though, the wife seams to think it belongs to her.

Re: XS Sights

She's got good taste then.

Jen shot my 19 and now wishes she'd gone with one instead of the Sig.
