Just got a holster I ordered from Midway, a Bianchi for my Smith I just got. Beautiful holster, well worth the money. However, stamped clearly on the back of the holster is these words: Made in Mexico!!!!! I am really pissed about this. Bianchi has always been made in USA, and don't know when they started having their stuff made in Mexico. Mexicans coming to America taking jobs, American companies sending their crap to Mexico for cheap labor. Helluva country we live in, I tell ya.

...we're still the best country on earth...but I have serious doubts as to if our grandchildren will be able to say that...we're turning into a consumer nation...we MUST produce to stay strong...and we're producing less and less...

And like you if it was not USA made I would NEVER buy one , I pay extra for the name and USA made . I when to there web papers and they no longer say USA made I think they were Blanchi USA and now it said Blanchi . Next time I go to a gun shop and look at there holsters and see what they say on them , they will NEVER sell me another holster , there is too many USA company's out there . |

don't have any hard data, but i've heard that the epa and govt regs have severely hampered commerical production of leather in the USA.........to the point that mexico and canada are way more cost effective for large comerical orders. Something i think to do with chrome in a chemical process.............. |

Plating shops are catching Hell. I would not be surprised if leather tanning is also getting hit.

Bet they didn't lower their price though! If tanning is the problem, import the leather and make the holster in the USA!

Made in USA isn't good enough.I want to see the day old Beano in Mexico buys a holster and gets it home and it saids made in USA and he bitches , isn't anything make in Mexico any more. We heed to take over the world with exports from USA.Made in USA should be in every corner of the world.Just like are kids in uniforms are.. |
