My soon to be cousin (by marriage) is a medic over in Afghanistan and has asked me to ship him a few more mags for his M4. Apparently they aren't giving the out the top quality stuff. I want to go out later today to ship him some ASAP. What are the top of the line mags for the M4. Thanks. |

find out who the govt supplier/contractor is and then go opposite............. they rely on the cheapest bid. I thought the "c" brand had the current bid? |

Thanks guys...A local near me has the Mag-Pul's. I'm going up there this afternoon to get them, and they are going out in tomorrow's post.

they are good mags and I think AIM has them. http://www.aimsurplus.com/catalog.aspx?groupid=14 when I was in I grabbed every 20 COLT mag I could get and rat holed them.I never like the 30 rd mags because of feeding issues. |

I got him 3 of the Magpul P-mags and the Magpul Ranger base plates to go with them. |

Nice. I have an assortment of mags. I upgraded the followers to no tilts, in the colt mags. The Mag puls already have them. Pete, I always load 28 into the 30's and have never had a problem. I think most people do that. |

the early 30 rd mags w/the pot metal follower sucked.I never put more than 18 in the old colt 20 rd mags.funny the old M14 mags didn't have problems. pete |
