My local the 30 round mags for $50. That's crazy. I wonder why Magpul or someone doesn't make them? They'd have to be cheaper. That's another reason I still don't own a Mini. |

If the mags would come down in price and I could find a newer model used, I'd probably own one. They're 100% reliable from all I've heard.

...only complaint I've ever heard is after a few rounds the shots wander a bit: a) after a few shots, the target will be very still, and b) I'm perfectly happy with 9" patterns on the most likely targets...it ain't a match rifle...I've loved them since they came out...Bill Ruger knew he'd sell millions patterning it after the M14...

They good for about a 3-4" group at 100 yards, and I've heard guys say they get 1" groups on ar egular basis. Even at 3-4", it'll do what it needs to. You're right about that.

I got my Mini out of lay a way, by the way. Haven't had a chance to see what it will do, other than just shooting some informal off hand groups. I have not mounted any scope on it yet. Don't know if I will or not. It is a lot of fun to shoot.

That's a good deal, Tim. Let us know what you think of that Mini. It is the 223 right? I think if I got one, it'd be the 7.62x39. Cheap ammo available everywhere. I found a used one today for $600. It was in great shape and had a nice sling on it. I don't have $600 to blow though.
