Buffalo bone grips

I got these for the old 1911, but I'm not sure I like them. They look like ceramic or something. If they age and yellow a bit, they'll look good though. I figured I'd give them a try.

I like the white grips. I think they look good on all finishes. I'd like to have some Ivory, but they may crack when the gun is fired and I don't want grips I have to change when I shoot the gun. It's kind of a waste of $300 imo. I also like Samba Stag.

Well some of us have good taste it seems. :P

I just ordered a set of Wilson Combat white dot sights and a full length stainless guide rod. That'll complete it.

I looked at a Springfield loaded model in black stainless today. $904, but it is beautiful. I have more than that into mine now, making it a loaded model.
