It's new math that I can agree with though. I get bored and do the same thing, but I don't have as nice of guns though.

If Johnny has five pistols and buys one more but doesn't tell his wife. How many pistols does Johnny now have?

Johnny gets all pistols that look similar.... i.e. 'they all look alike'.

= Johnny has one pistol that he cleans six times before putting them.... er.. it away.

My wife ask me how much I paid for a new gun . I would say $50 to $100 and I really paid about $500 . She never did catch on in 18 yrs of marriage . She got everything she ever ask for and lots of spending money .

I've never lied to my wife about how much I spend although she sometimes doesn't understand what I am saying.

If I pay $500 for a pistol I just say "I offered him $200". Sometimes she understands this to mean I paid $200.

Its called critical mass. You have so many one more is invisible. Doesn't matter if its new shoes for her or a new gun for me.

If I only had what I needed I would need to sell about 50. Remember need and want are not the same.

I went to the gun show today and needed a holster and some ammo for a.44 mag. I found both, but when I got home the holster had a .44mag in it. I thought the holster looked funny.
