New "eyes" for my M1A

Leupold VX-II/1-4x20 scope, Basset Machine scope mount, TPS rings......pretty basic package here and if the temp ever gets below 100 I'll get out with my "coach" (Kim) and dial this bad-boy in. Since I'm planning on shooting NATO 147 gr ammo for any "situations" that may arise, didn't feel the need for a scope powerful enough to study craters on Pluto.

Looks like an excellent set up. I would have to move the scope a bit forward if it where mine.

Don't want the scope to fly off if I have to use the damned thing as a club...."close encounters" ya' know.

That should work just fine, Bankshot. If they are further than you can see them thru that, you got time for a smoke.

Here are my 'night eyes'. Note the vented fiberglass front upper handguard.

I love the look of the scope set up Bankshot. Is that enough eye relief? If it is Dayum.
