I've never owned one, but have a good friend who has one in .38 Super. I've shot it and it shoots good. He loves his.

Thanks for your replies.

That's a tough question.... I guess I'd have to say the S&W 1911 SC. It's a Commander length gun with the butt bob-tailed. It has a Scandium frame so it's lightweight, but recoil is still not an issue. It shoots good, goes bang every time and carries well.

I do have a few wheelguns



All new models - .45 Convertible, .44 Mag, 41 Mag, .357 Convertible, .32 H&R Mag, .22 Convertible



Ruger Security Six, S&W 642

And a few more bottom feeders



Ruger SR9, Ruger P345, Ruger SR9C, Walther P22, Ruger Mark II Target

had a good segment on outdoor channel last night about the kimber raptors....awsome looking pieces and as they said its not for show everything about them are for go...which makes them the highest on my new pistol to get list.....Previously i had wanted to try the rock island line....but those raptors are rapid

yea lets be honest what american boy dosent like a good made 1911 when he sees one? Or for that matter even a badly made 1911 or copy is better than no 1911.

Thanks! Actually, I don't. I used to have a Marlin 1894, 1894C and a Mountie. I sure wish I still did.
