Son Don and I went to a gun Show Saturday and it was the best one so far this summer. I ended up trading my 16 year old Vaquero 45 colt for a almost like new Browning lever action 22LR. . Havent has a 22 in several years. Still have two guns in 45 Colt so the long barreled one wont be missed. Seems like every table there had one or more lever action rifles. Maybe because it was close the the Mi. line All were priced in the $450. range or higher. Gun funds are tapped out for a while. Came home that day and there was a bill for the next 3 months of Hospital insurance. ( $ 960 .) Well there went the GP 100 that was on the want but don't need list. |

Have not went to a gun show in along time. Not since I got my present job anyway. Last few I went to everything was over-priced, and it cost me a fortune just to get in!

Same with me gunman. Claybird, Good find.... Always wanted a level action. Reminds me of 'The Rifleman' TV series. |
