Make your Colt or clone bulletproof

All my Cimarron's came from the factory stock with this 1 modification to gun .

and this wire spring to make them bulletproof like the Rugers .

That may fix the spring breakage problem but will not make them "bulletproof like a Ruger". That comes from the strength of the frame and cylinder.

Nice to know if I had one of them Italian pistols.

Even thou last year had some major problems with the Ruger they are still had to beat. The problem with them can be fixed, from what the gunsmith told me they are pretty rough on the inside. Still there are more of them at the match's than any other guns.

When I said bulletproof I was talking about gun breakage not strength . The Cimarron and Uberti the fit , finish and workmanship is far better then Ruger SA and don't need cylinders reamed and bulged in barrel at frame fired lapped out to make them perfect . I own 9 SA Rugers right now and have owned over 70 Rugers in my life and the last 8 Cimarron and Uberti I've owned I can't find any problems with them except for the old spring breakage . Thanks to SASS/ CAS shooters too fix that problem . The Ruger is is a far better hunting gun because of the Ruger only loads can be shot in them and are very tuff to blowup .
