Tueday a week ago I ordered a barrel , set of grips and a holster , from Bond Derringer on there web sight . They sent me a confirmation number the same day with a copy of the order with my name , address , payment . There 100 mile up the road from me so I firgued I would have Friday or Monday the latest . Tueday I called them up and ask where my order was and they said it SHOULD go out Friday . When they send the confirmation number why not a ETA if it not going out in a couple days , none of my stuff was on back ordered . I CANCELLED MY $400 ORDER .

That's sucks. I hate it when they don't tell ya that kinda stuff. Only 100 miles could have came USPS quicker. One customer lost is like 100. Good luck TGR.

I hate that----sometimes the storage warehouse is not co-located with the shipping facility and that adds a week for shipping.

Bond arms is a small company and everything is done in house under 1 roof and anything longer then a couple days for shpping , a ETA should be part or there confirmation Email . It is not hard to put shipping will be in 10 days . I order a barrel 3 yrs ago and it took almost 3 weeks to get to me in Tn . I wasn't happy then either .

Hate poor CS. I am having a blue with my cell phone carrier at the moment and keep getting put through to an O/S call centre in the Phillipines. They have no idea..... and they have lost my business. HATE THAT..... |

Sounds like they have some of the same issues the rest of the gun industry has. High demand with their orders backlogged. Most small companies don't want to add staff but just run a little OT right now until they figure out what is happening in Washington.

If they would have told me up front that it would be 2 weeks before shipping , I would have said OK , but looking for it everyday and not showing up SUCK . Now I will wait to they put a $20 off coupon like they did on the barrel I got 3 years ago . I emailed them 4 times , 4 years ago about making a barrel chambered in 32-20 . I have NEVER received a answer yet .

That is one of the problems that small companies are facing today. It happend throughout all industries and areas these days . The folks at Tyler "T" griip got in trouble when their decades old product was suddenly "rediscovered" with the increase in CCW and a resurgence of revolvers. Their production capability was fine for years with the casual demand, but orders came in faster than they could keep up with them. I just had a major disappointment outside the firearm industry with a company that was making a product that was undercutting existing products by more than 50%. The particular equipment was "rediscovered" (much like Tyler's product) and because it was really simple, someone figured out how to make it far cheaper than the only two companies, selling it as and expensive "accessory", were doing. The company I was going to do business with had to close down because they got too many orders and were under capitalized to be able to grow to meet the demand.
