Beeman HW70

I received the Beeman pistol I bought from TGR and shot it within a few minutes of arrival. Great pistol and easy to operate. The trigger is great! Love that plink when it hits a tin can.

Remember HW70 is a spring gun which has a recoil , so grip and follow threw is very important . Pellet guns are like flint muzzle loader , most people move the gun before the pellet has left the barrel . If you can master a pellet gun it will make you a super pistol shooter .

Now you tell me. Just kidding, I was able to hit a small windmill trail 50 feet away every time. I have Official Beeman Targets but for now I'm just plinking. The pistol has a nice balance and feels comfortable in my hand.

I need to buy more pellets. I have a hundred or so wadcutters but was thinking of some heavier pointed pellets.

Buy Beeman or Daisy pellet they are as good as the high dollar ones . I shoot the wadcutter 90% of the time . Stay away from the Chinese pellets they leadup the gun and not sized evenly . I NEVER put a clean rod in a pellet gun . I use a snake every 5,000 rounds , but I use kotex type pellets you shoot in gun for cleaning when I put the gun away . There is 2 types of oil for pellet guns , one oil is for air gun and the other one is for spring guns .

I've never heard them called Kotex Pellets before but I know what you are talking about. Thats the only cleaning I've ever done to the P1.

Here's your pistol with its new friend.

The are completely differant. The P1 is more expensive and has the balance of a 1911 even though the slide is much bigger. I wanted a separate pistol so when I'm shooting air my wife has something to shoot. The P1 shoots at 300 fps at half-cock and 600 fps at full. What does the HW70 shoot at?

My P1 is one of the most accurate pistols I have. The P1 and 22/45 are both very accurate. I suspect the HW70 will be in that catagory.
