Any opinions on the Kimber Ultra Carry II, 45acp?
I have a chance to trade a rifle I don't need for this pistol.
But then, I don't really need the Kimber.

Need....Want... sometimes I get those confused.
I wish I had one. They are gorgeous guns.

My one experience with a Kimber 1911 was very positive and our local 1911 expert likes them, though he thinks they are a bit too pricey. That particular gun, though, is an entry level Kimber that Kimber markets to get their foot in the door with local gun shops to compete with less expensive 1911 brands. Don't confuse it with the usual $1000 plus Kimbers. Looks good from the ones I've examined, though, but don't know anyone who owns one. Might want to do some online research.

I've looked online a bit, but was hoping Kimberlover might comment.

They are good lookin guns, and shoot well, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, especially for what they charge.
I've had two friends sell their's after bad experiences with customer service.
