.22 Short Colt SAs
In an LGS last week, and they had a pair of Colt SA revolvers that were .22 Short only. Consecutive serials, in a nicely fitted walnut case, and asking $900. They appeared to be Frontier size SAAs.
Out of curiosity, a look online only brought up some Civil War commemoratives Colt made in the 1960s, and they are actually single shot just made to look like a revolver? Painted zinc frames? Why would anyone want that, and for $900?

Good question but I am not a collector nor do I have that mentality when it comes to guns. I am not criticizing or mocking those that do just not my thing. In the Civil War that gun was big as it was carried as a last resort. The problem was you shoot someone with it and it took them a few weeks to die back then.
