Now is this a cross between a red deer or just the largest whitetail doe you have ever seen. She weighed a whopping 298 lbs on the hoof, taken in Alabama by a rifle hunter. If they were all this large, what an awesome tag fill. They aren't in a hurry to get the guts out down there are they? The head does look like an elk either that or the thing turned right at Saskatoon instead of staying straight and got lost.
