TGR your the only on here that can walk in to a pup tent and never duck lol. Sharing a tent with sheepdog, I'll take the bear thank you. sheepdog don't need a hard hat he has a hard head. Ok so now I can safely trust in the fact that the bear is never going to come around here as the signs are ready up sheepdog selpt here see the dead grass. |

44 with brass bullets, thats what they use in Alaska. or a short barrel 12gauge with slugs... As far as what to do with doing it legally if you see one... For the most part black bears are scared of people... Only if they have cubs then Id step away. But if it attacks you; or you feel it is on its way to attack you their is no reason you can get in trouble for dropping it; just hit the dome. Skins about as thick as a brick house.

But I have to admit this place wouldn't what it is without him. He is a true friend and worse than a three year old under foot and in the way most of the time. But we would at a loss without him for sure. Shawn would have an easier life if the both of us weren't here but we are not making anything easy on Shawn trust me on this one lol |

I have an idea that if the bears develop a taste for calfs then their reintroduction may be an underwhelming success. I would be more worried about the black jaguars or panthers or whatever they are that they have roaming around east Texas that Fish and Game says don't exist.
