Winchester Model 250

This is an older smooth top,tube fed lever action 22 rifle. Anyone here know anything about this model. I'm assuming it was probably a $69. new ?

i have fondled a grand total of "1" in my lifetime............really don't know a heck of a lot about that one. I think they got cussed and cursed along with the rest of the winchester line in 1963-64 when winchester made changes in designs and materials to reduce labor costs and cut corners in order to stay cost competitive.............folks hated the idea of change when winchester did those massive re-designs and different new models......and a lot of models suffered in sales because of it and were shunned.

last time i seen one in a pawn shop i think it was under $200..............that was sometime back.

...in good shape, it'd probably go for around $150...I couldn't get used to the trigger moving with the lever...too different from what I was used to...

...I own a 270...the pump...mine was made for Sears...they're reliable and ok...a bit lightly made but no problems with mine...
