...saw 'em give 1500 on this model/caliber rough and raw on Pawn Stars...never heard of the caliber before and was intrigued...lookyhere!!! Lotta dollars!!!

Wow thanks for the site, Depends on where you look and whom your talking to about what Tom Horn used I have heard anything from a 30 30 to a 45-60 to a 45 -90. in the Movie with Steve Mc Queen he said he used a 45 60. Was one of the reasons I got the 1886 in caliber, i have since found out that I would have done better to get a lever gun in either 45 75 or 40 60. Too late now got the rifle and have had a lot of work done on it too.
