Wow thanks for the site, Depends on where you look and whom your talking to about what Tom Horn used I have heard anything from a 30 30 to a 45-60 to a 45 -90. in the Movie with Steve Mc Queen he said he used a 45 60. Was one of the reasons I got the 1886 in caliber, i have since found out that I would have done better to get a lever gun in either 45 75 or 40 60. Too late now got the rifle and have had a lot of work done on it too. |
