I started the order process, but you can't order on line. I then decided that the dog was right, pachys will probably better for CCW

I've done several chip repairs on the badger grips for customers, it's almost like they are a little too brittle .??

I think a few of us will stay away from them after reading this thread.

Nice to see you, Jim.

Re: Short range trip. Good news/bad news

Sp 101 grips. For shooting 357 loads or even 38+P I'll take my Hogues anyday. And I still say that they are more concealable than the regular factory grips. Give them a good look ,yes they are about 3/4 inch longer But they are thinner and more pointed on the end than the originals and hold tight to the body in one of Rob's Silver dollar pancake holsters. The factory grip is thicker and blunt on the end printing more than the Hogues at least for me. Your milage may vary.
Here I have talked myself in going to the range in the morning while its still cool and fire some 357's and 38SP+P in that Sp101. Might as well take the BH357 and Marlin 336-3030 along .

Good to see you Jim!

The Pachy's have been great. I am actually finding that I can go back to my hot and heavy hand loads with no problem. The fit my hand just right and recoil is no problem.

Those rubber grips are good for something! Even if it isn't for looking at.

Re: Short range trip. Good news/bad news

...I love 'em on any revolver I've tried Compacs on...the Compac Pros are a bit shorter...too short for my hands, the Grippers don't fit my fingers, the Presentation is too big on the heel for me, though I carried them for years as an improvement over S&W Presentation grips on the 66....the Signature grips fit my Combat Commander well...but the Compacs have pleased ALMOST everyone I got to try them...
