It wouldn't cock past half cock. I took the cylinder out blew it out with air and put her back togather and she ran like a champ. have cleaned them both up and they are ready for another range day soon. yes it is Natalie.

Re: shot them

Snuffy is big into Cowboy action shooting. He bought a couple of new Ruger SA revolvers but he is a one man two thumbed wrecking crew and busted both, something many though was impossible.

He has recently gotten six new SA revolvers I think and four (?) of them have gotten or are getting custom work.

TX gunrunner is also seriously into the sport and others are interested. It is amazing to see video of Snuffy in action. I think there are some posted on some old threads.

Mac that was a guy that looked like Snuffy and almost as fast as Snuff . I'm out of the shooting game right now , I no longer can raise gun up to eye level at this time . Both shoulder are out and seem to be getting worse .

Re: shot them

I'm sorry to hear that. I knew it was restricting you but thought you could still work with the lighter guns. I hope for the best for you.

I know the videos you mean but I thought I had seen Snuffy too, here or on Facebook. My problem isn't my shoulders it's what sits on them.

Re: shot them

PM sent to TGR, thiw person needs to learn a lesson in maaners if you ask me. As far as being in a video here or on face book I have no idea if I was or not. Thispast summer I had purchased 4 Bisley Vaquero's in 45 colt 3 of the 4 broke. First two the pawl's broke while in the living room dry firing. The thrid one the transfer bar broke while doing th same thing. Ruger did send a pawl the first time second time they sent me a box and lable to send it back to them. And the gun was repaired. how ever they were only fixingthe gun not correcting the problem with the pawls the newer guns at leasrt mine have a tear drop looking part on the bottom part of the pawl which they did not relieve enough in the frame of the Vaquero frame. This of course is my opinon. Doesn't matter all Ruger's from now on go to my custom gun smith and they are Ruger no more as all the transfer bars and other stuff is removed. Ruger still has the best frame and barrels and cylinders for the money. Older Vageros are worth alot more in the Sass shooting game and most shooters know that. It run $290.00 a gun to get them into the running order I like plus shipping them to him. I have 4 of the 6 customized two 45's and two 357's. have one pair of 45's to get hoping to get them done later this year or early next year. Ok hope this brings you up to speed.
